Karl Sidwall born in Smo land Sweden February 11 1881 died December 6 1948 at Klinger Nursing Home Aurora age 66 years 10 months 5 days. He came to the United States March 1909 worked on Polk area farms moved to live with brother A H Sidwall Polk three years ago. Survived by two sisters in Sweden and several nieces and nephews in Sweden and the United States including Mrs Kenneth Samuels Curtis A E Sidwall Holdrege and Victor Omaha. Funeral at Mrauver Funeral Home with Rev Paul Lemke officiating. Interment in Swedish Baptist Cemetery.

Dean Samuelson and Elwyn Johnson were in a minor collision Sunday near highway 81 in Stromsburg. Dean was hospitalized overnight but released the next day. Elwyn and passengers were not seriously injured. Cars sustained heavy damage.
