Rev Robert Hull Dies in Minnesota
The Rev. Robert Hull died in Lake City Minnesota on December 3 he is survived by his wife Myrtle Flodman two sons Garth and Howard a daughter Mary Lou and one grandchild His funeral was held December 6 at Lake City with burial at Bethesda Iowa. Relatives and friends in Wahoo Polk and Stromsburg mourn the loss.

Saylor drives for two GMG entertained at Rally. GMG girls from Hordville, Stromsburg and York attended. Mrs. Matthew Segner of Friend spoke. Christmas program and cookies with punch followed. LCW met December 1 at Trinity Lutheran with eighteen members. Parma Werner and Kathy Brazda led the program. Lucille Johnson handled coffee for the pot luck lunch. Eastern Star fed Masons and wives at Masonic Hall November 29 with games and prizes. seventy-two attendees. Navy-Marine Atsugi Flyers win Far East championship 7-2. Darwin Hahn played left end after joining Atsugi in September. He now plays basketball.

Death of Walter Gustafson at 76 in Galesburg
Walter Gustafson 76 died Wednesday November 17 at Cottage Hospital in Galesburg Illinois. Born February 4 1889 in Nebraska he lived in Galesburg 68 years and worked 30 years as a molder at Galesburg Malleable Co. He was twice married to Ruth E Campbell and Effie Jane Hogan both preceding him in death. Survived by a daughter Rollin Davis and a step daughter Mrs Howard Holmes both of Galesburg two brothers Ernest of Galesburg and Edward of Grey Bull Wyoming a sister Mrs Eleanor Neilson of Galesburg two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was a former resident of this community.
