Soprano Miss Patricia Stranberg Selected for Messiah Concert

Funeral Monday in Evangelical Free Church Stormsburg for David BE Sundberg 71 who died Friday at home near Stromsburg. Officiating ministers were Rev. Dennis Johnson and Rev. Ralph Larson. Burial in Stromsburg Cemetery. Sundberg born near Polk married Blanche Stevens in 1945. longtime farmer and Republican precinct committeeman. Survivors include his wife five sisters and two brothers.

The Odd Fellows held their annual pheasant feed on November 30 drawing a good crowd. Tom Hall of the York lodge presented slides from a Scandinavian trip. The evening included card games. At the Rainbow Rebekah Lodge, Dorothy Dahlin was elected Noble Grand with Mary Lou Hahn as Vice Grand and Josephine Strand and Helen Bayer re elected Secretary and Treasurer.
