WSCS Meeting Set for December 8 at Swede Plain Church

Open House for Jones Anniversary This December

Polk County Extension calls all farmers to Osceola for an all day program starting 9 30 a m on December 7 with topics on family relationships undulant fever brucellosis control and rural health. 4 H achievements and awards for 1948 announced with numerous medal entries and club honors. The ceremony featured a chancel display of chrysanthemums and palms with music by Elmer Wilshusen and Prof. C. Be Germeroth. The bride wore a satin gown with pearl details and a beaded crown veil. The reception followed at the couple's in laws home. The bride is a Polk High School graduate 1947 and the groom from Hordville High School. they will live on a farm near Hordville.
