The Ladies Aid Society of the Evan. Free Church held their August meeting at the church with Mrs. Gordon Glad and Mrs Edwin Hanson in charge. Rev. Clifford Smith and Mrs Alvin Stranberg contributed vocal solos while Helen Nyberg spoke on her missionary work in Wieco Kentucky. The group completed a White Cross box for Nyberg’s mission. Peter Peterson Reunion Sees 152 Members At Buckley Park
The Peter Peterson family, now 152 members from four original lineages, gathered at Buckley Park on Sunday August 19 with 74 attendees. Oldest members Mrs Gust Chindgren Mrs Sander Peterson and Mr and Mrs J G Carlson were present. Six births since last year, one new marriage Rosalie Ekstrom to Tom Engelhardt in Sutton Nebraska. J G Carlson turned 90 on January 3. No deaths. Duane Swanson serves in the armed forces at Sheppard Air Force Base Texas.
