Preparations for the 58th annual Polk County Fair at Osceola August 24 to 27 are nearly complete despite corn prospects lagging. Miss Polk County 1937 and Little Miss Polk County will be chosen for the state fair, with a parade opening day. Features include rodeo, horse races with top local gaiters, a county rural baseball championship, daily band music, Spies Sisters, baby show August 26, W. A. Gibbs & Son midway rides, graveled midway, and expanded livestock, poultry, agriculture and arts exhibits.

Drivers Eye Test Required Under New Nebraska Law
