Polk Local Notes Share Surgeries Visits and Picnics

Mrs. Elmer Nieman underwent surgery at Litzenberg Memorial Hospital Central City last Wednesday and is recovering well. Mrs. Reuben Hanquist hosted a coffee party honoring Miss Helen Nyberg of Cody Kentucky and Miss Linda Nyberg who will resume studies in Omaha. Mr and Mrs James Lindburg and guests traveled to Illinois for a week with relatives returning Monday. Miss Mary Ann Parmentier of Rockford NL accompanied them and visits the Lindburg home. The Polk Gideon Camp held a picnic supper at Polk Park Monday evening.
