Funeral Services for Mrs Felton Held July 28
Mrs Esther O Felton 72 of 703 North 85th Street Omaha died Tuesday July 25. Funeral services were held Friday July 28 with interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Survived by her husband James G Felton two daughters Mrs C L McAnear Bellevue and Mrs Darlow Burdie Omaha a son James B of Tuxedo Park NY sister Mrs W H Rieken Springfield IL and eight grandchildren. Former Polk resident was a druggist operating Felton Pharmacy now Kisler Sundries. Mr and Mrs Art Trennepohl and family of Rapid City SD visited her parents Rudolph Nyberg and others before leaving Monday.

The dry spell spurred whimpers for rain, but the recent warmth favors corn growth though some fields, drowned in June, must mature before frost possibly delaying Christmas frost.
