League tournament schedules and new uniforms announced
The 15-18 tournament is set for Polk in the first week of August. The 12-14 event will be at Benedict and the 7-11 at Shelby with dates to be announced. New uniforms have been bought for the boys and two smaller girls teams, funded by seed corn dealers. Age differential for all teams is August minus one.

The event drew 40 schools and about 3000 entries, with ratings I Superior II Excellent III Very Good and IV Fair.
