Baptist Mission Circle Installs Officers
The Baptist Mission Circle met Thursday April 14 in church parlors at 2 00 p m. Installation of officers followed the business meeting. The Platte Valley Conference Studies luncheon is set for York April 29. Speakers were Mrs Lloyd Lind Mrs Roy Glasser Jr and Mrs Henry Horstman. Hostesses included Mrs Elmer Hanquist Mrs Walter Nelson Mrs O E Jones and Mrs Will Wurtz. Sunday coffee guests at Elmer Hanquist home were Bonnie Hanquist John Reckner and Donnie Hanquist.

Farm employment office names new interviewer in Polk area
The Nebraska Division of Employment announces Kenneth Sedlacek as an interviewer to assist with the farm program this summer. He will work with Jim Brazda Sr., Volunteer Farm Representative, in Polk County. Brazda serves without pay, and farmers can list needs with Brazda or the Columbus office at 2809-13th St. Columbus, 563-5105. Also notes: Mr and Mrs Arthur Larson and Mr and Mrs Kenneth Larson of Stromsburg visited Mrs Ella Shenk and Nola Simpson. Grant Johnson visited Mrs George DeLand and Ralph in Osceola.
