Sundberg Golden Wedding Anniversary Celebrated
Mr and Mrs Albert Sundberg celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the Methodist Church on Sunday April 24 with over 200 guests. The program included readings, a talk by Oscar Sundberg, musical numbers by Ruth Kroger and a ladies trio, a letter from Governor Morrison, and awards from Ak-Sar-Ben and the church. Relatives from Oregon California Washington and Colorado attended along with local friends.

Former Polk music teacher praised in Omaha paper
Leota Sneed Strong, longtime Polk schools music teacher, received an enthusiastic Omaha newspaper write up with photos highlighting her Omaha work. She recalled fondly the Polk years and noted an Omaha offer to teach at Minne Lusa Miller Park and Florence Schools as a decisive move. Strong also served as a judge at the Howells District Contest and praised the Polk Triple Trio with a glowing note on her judging slip.

Married Aboard Ship In Norfolk Navy Ceremony
