Sheriff Nabs Forger Casing Fremont Checks
Saturday evening Homer Sylvester arrested Ed Estep after he cashed two $10 checks in Fremont posing as Ford representative from Mitchell Nebraska. Estep was jailed after the sheriff traced a fictitious Fremont bank and recovered $17 of the $20. He was arraigned in county court and sentenced to sixty days in jail plus costs.
