D C LaRue Dies After Auto Crash Near Benson
David C. LaRue fifty two year old operator of a Kearney bowling alley died after a crash on highway 36 two and a half miles west of Benson. The Omaha visitor's car skidded in mud and plunged into a ravine striking a tree fracturing his skull. He was born in 1871 and survived by two daughters and three sons. He had run recreation parlors at Blair and Kearney and was adopted by the LaRue family of Union.
