Thelma Ward 15 and Darrell Brown 16 were named Nebraska 4-H health champions at the state fair. Ward has seven years in club work and represents Nebraska in the national health club contest in Chicago this fall. Brown is a Meadow Grove junior joining Ward as state health champs. Boy Scout Drum Corps Plays at State Fair Parade
The Plattsmouth Boy Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps under Anton Bajeck and James Farnham performed during Veterans Day festivities at the state fair. They marched in the veterans parade at 2:30, were featured on KFAB radio, and wore blue overalls with red bandanas. Eight cars transported the group to Lincoln, with members including Francis Libershal to Gay Farmer among snare and bass players. The Junior Corps, organized by the local American Legion post, plans to attend the Weeping Water fair next week.

Death of Mrs. Jennie Trump At Nebraska Masonic Home
Mrs. Jennie Trump 82 died Sunday at the Nebraska Masonic Home where she had resided since 1929. Born December 11 1850 in Columbia County Wisconsin she spent most of her life in Omaha and belonged to Vesta chapter Eastern Star. She is survived by several children living in various states. Funeral is Wednesday at 2 p.m. from Glendale mortuary with services by Vesta chapter OES.

Graves Family Holds Reunion at Garfield Park
Members of the Graves family gathered at Garfield Park in Plattsmouth to celebrate a reunion tracing back to William W. and Mahalah Graves who settled in Cass County in 1869. Mrs Hillard Grossman suffered a very severe indigestion attack Sunday night. The illness caused great alarm in the family as medical care was required for several hours before relief was found. She is now resting as easily as possible under the circumstances.

Fatal Auto Accident Near Weeping Water
A fatal auto crash occurred early today on the highway six miles north of Weeping Water. James Smith of Omaha drove a Chevrolet roadster that overturned, killing Alma White and seriously injuring Smith. Bystanders found the wreck and authorities reported no inquest. The injured man and dead woman were taken to Omaha for treatment and burial.
