The body of Roscoe Wortman a 14 year old boy was found in Salt Creek near its Platte River junction the report says he and a companion Dewey disappeared from home at Christmas while skating on Pawnee Creek. Dewey whose last name is unknown remains missing and unfound.

Petersen born in Gothenburg Sweden 73 died leaving Lillian the youngest who had just left for Portland Oregon. Relatives in Oregon and South Dakota notified for funeral arrangements. Albert Likewise Laid To Rest At Oak Hill Cemetery
Albert Likewise was laid to rest at Oak Hill cemetery Sunday afternoon. Rev. J. H. Salsbury of the Presbyterian church preached the service from Isaiah 63 9 noting his 35 years 10 months and 22 days. A choir from the Presbyterian church sang Come Ye Disconsolate and Rock of Ages Cleft for Me. The address highlighted a mother’s prayers and a story of a sailor aided by faith. Immediate family included his mother Mrs Geo Shoeman five brothers and two sisters with one sister Mrs John Mimm at Ft Steele Wyoming. Frank Lahoda died after sitting on the Burlington track near Happy Hollow as switch engine 54 pushed Freight No.1 over the river. Runaway accident ends in buggy overturn at Rock Port
Jesse Brady and his schoolteacher companion from Watson attended a Bloomers Girls game in Rock Port. After the match an automobile honked and spurred them to hurry home. Brady grabbed the buggy lines, tipped the vehicle, and both occupants fell to the ground. The woman suffered a facial scratch and bruises, while Brady sustained numerous injuries including removed skin and soreness that kept him from sitting comfortably.
