Wreck on Missouri Pacific line near Eagle injures no one
A Missouri Pacific local freight from Weeping Water collapsed a bridge four miles east of Eagle last Saturday morning, dropping thirteen loaded cars into the creek. Passengers were transferred via a temporary foot bridge. no injuries reported. The bridge was deemed too weak for the heavy load and the engine crossed before collapse. Wreckage remains unrecovered.
