Joseph Henry Lidgett age 74 longtime Union resident died Monday afternoon after a long illness due to cancer followed by pneumonia. Born in Newark England on December 3 1864 he emigrated to the United States, lived in Chicago, married in 1914 and moved to Union Cass County area. Survived by his wife and several sons including Henry who returned from California to help care for him. a funeral will be held Thursday at Union Methodist Church with Rev McGaughey presiding. He was a Mason and Modern Woodman member.
