In Cass county a Loup River Public Power District seeks a five member freeholder group to condemn lands for a transmission line easement from near Greenwood east then northeast to the Platte river, with owners including Armstrong, Schuelke, Martin, Zox, Gakemeir, Buell, Lake, Wendt, Rikli, Kahler, Twiss, Schleifert, Meisinger, and others. The line travels Columbus to Lincoln to Omaha and crosses into Sarpy. The court will appoint appraisers to determine land values.
