Cass County Man Loses Suit Over State Markers
Matthew Thimgan sued the state of Nebraska seeking 50 000 dollars for the use of his covered wagon design on state road markers. The district court in Lincoln dismissed the case, ruling the statute of limitations expired after the 1929 legislature refused to appropriate funds. Judge Broady held the claim must have been filed within two years of that denial.
