Death of Mrs. George Troop at Kearney Today
Mrs. George Troop 28 died this morning at the tuberculosis hospital in Kearney Nebraska after years of illness. Her husband two daughters Mary Phyllis and Antionette, and siblings Edward Thomas Louis Stava survive along with relatives in Murray and Nehawka. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Horton funeral home.

Deputy Sheriff Injured Eye From Hay Stacker Demo
Deputy Sheriff E. J. Doody suffered an eye injury while at Madison Minnesota testing a hay stacker. Small steel particles lodged in the eye and caused irritation until removal. The eye was bandaged to protect it for several days.

Elizabeth Carr 77 widow of Edward Carr longtime Cass county resident died Saturday night at the Carr homestead near Eagle. Born in Illinois she and her family moved west in 1863 and settled at Plattsmouth. Survived by two daughters a son two brothers three sisters and other relatives.
