Former Plattsmouth Lady Redfern Dies in Lincoln
Mrs. D. L. Redfern of Lincoln, formerly Florence Livingston White of Plattsmouth, died at her Lincoln home after a life spent in social and musical circles. Born February 7, 1877 in Plattsmouth, she studied vocal music in Louisville and Chicago, married Dr. D. L. Redfern of Auburn, later moved to Lincoln, and leaves husband, mother Mrs. F. S. White, a child who did not survive, and brothers A. W. White, F. E. White, and Arthur White. Funeral planned from the Lincoln residence.

Off on a Pleasure Trip to the Northwest

Shooting at Cedar Creek leaves mystery over source of wound
August Olson was shot while four men ate lunch under a tree near Cedar Creek. The bullet entered his back with no warning and investigators cannot determine the shooter or source. Olson was taken to Omaha Swedish Hospital for X rays.

Strange Actions by Man at Peter Meisinger Home
Last evening around 10 oclock Sheriff Quinton responded to a telephoned report from the Peter Meisinger home east of Cedar Creek. A man believed to be insane was found near the house and taken to the city for confinement and a planned insanity board examination. The man, later identified as Baren Hanson, appeared irrational but claimed past quarry work near Cedar Creek.
