John Gilmore Receives Medical Degree at Nebraska
John Edwin Gilmore of Murray earned the Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. He is to begin his medical career, following in his father’s footsteps as a Cass county physician. Born November 25, 1914, he previously earned BA and BS degrees and served as a first lieutenant in ROTC then in the regular army medical corps. He will go to Victoria Canada on June 15 to intern at Royal Jubilee Hospital.
