Spangler Family Holds Reunion at Sack Home
The Spangler descendants gathered July 22 1939 at Reuel Sack home for a family reunion with seventy two attendees. The event featured a noon potluck ball game and horse shoe, a business meeting electing Peter Spangler president Fern Spangler secretary and Mary Gobelman treasurer. Direct descendants include 11 children 47 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren with 10 of 11 living children present.

Coroners Jury Finds No Criminal Negligence in Lincoln Car Crash
After an inquest at the courthouse into the Elmwood fatal wreck on highway No 34 near Eagle the coroner county attorney and jurors concluded there was no criminal negligence by Herman Brockmeier in the collision with Frank Gillette. Patrolman Church and Brockmeier testified. Attorney Guy Chamber represented Brockmeier.

Mrs. John True 70 a long time resident near Plattsmouth and Cedar Creek died this morning at the family home after a three month illness. Bertha Linhart a Swiss native who came to the U S at eighteen and married John True is survived by eleven children and her husband. She was a member of the Christian Science Society.

Mrs Fitch Taken to Hospital After Serious Condition
