Wreck injures Herb Schutz returning from Omaha
Sunday night on the Avery road near the Avery hill, Herb Schutz of this city rode home from Omaha when his car overturned twice. He suffered several cuts and bruises as a passing truck driver brought him to town where a physician dressed the injuries. The vehicle was nearly demolished by the impact.

George Everett Pioneer of Cass County Dies at 72
George Everett, 72, a longtime Liberty precinct resident and farming figure near Union, Nebraska, died Sunday after years of ill health and two recent strokes. Born April 6, 1560 near Union, he was survived by six children Leslie Ralph John Everett Vivian Rhodes and two others, plus brother Claude Everett and sister Mrs Meles Tyrell. Funeral services were held Tuesday at his former home conducted by Elder Higsins of the Latter Day Saints church in Nebraska City.

Foresters Take Ten Day Holiday From Garden City Camp
Richard Black, located at the Civilian Conservation Corps camp near Garden City Kansas, left for a holiday break from western Kansas reforestation work. Several hundred young men have been engaged in the project since November. Trucks carried foresters toward home with many returning to Omaha. Henry Krejci also stayed at the Garden City camp to visit a friend nearby.

Funeral Of Miss Bradway Held Monday Afternoon
Funeral services for Miss Eaythe Bradway were held Monday afternoon at Lattier funeral home in Fourth and Vine streets. Rev. Doctor O Troy of the First Methodist church led the service and offered comfort to the bereaved family. The county clerk reports 599 men employed on 37 CWA projects this week, up 21 from last week. Total payroll across the county reached $3,915.75, up from $2,596.16.
