Nebraska highway program to cost over a million
State Engineer Cochran announced a highway program in Nebraska totaling about 1 241 000 with most funds aimed at creating employment. If federal aid funds are advanced, 1 750 000 more could be available for 250 miles of paving 500 miles of graveled roads and several bridges including Gretna Ashland pavement and an overhead Gretna crossing.
