Mrs Lyle Hostetter, hospitalized at Clarkson hospital in Omaha for ten days after an operation for chronic appendicitis, returned home Sunday afternoon. Her nurse Miss Florence Bartels of Omaha accompanied her and stayed with her parents Mr and Mrs Ernest Schoemaker and family. Arthur and Arnold Schoemaker and Miss Eleanor Sedlak escorted Miss Bartels back to Omaha Sunday evening so she could return to duty Monday morning.

Grover Parriott former resident north of Plattsmouth was struck by a semi trailer truck driven by Holly Price near the Orea polis overhead bridge.
