The Stones irrigation system pumps about 25 000 gallons per minute and supports the farm though corn in dry sections looks poor. Colored man injured in railroad yard incident
Sheriff Joe Mrasek found a man named John W. Brown from Dallas Texas injured after slipping while attempting to move from an open coal car to a box car on a southbound freight train. A W Moore Suffers Auto Accident En Route to Ashland
A. W. Moore of this city was driving to Ashland for Burlington work when his car collided with a Weeping Water vehicle near Cass County. Both cars were badly damaged. occupants John Finkle and H. C. Christianson were hospitalized in Lincoln with severe injuries. Moore suffered a bruised shoulder and other bruises but resumed work the next day, still feeling effects of the crash.
