Suffering From Pneumonia In Cess County

C A Ruse of Merna Nebraska arrived to arrange a new Ford agency here with truckloads of equipment en route. Ruse, long established in western Nebraska, operates agencies at Merna and Anselmo and will move quickly to set up cars and lines for public service. Funeral for Mrs Lovina McCool Held at Sattler
The 78 year old Mrs Lovina McCool was buried at Oak Hill cemetery after a Thursday funeral at Sattler funeral home. Rev O G Wichmann led the service with solos by Mrs Ray Herring and piano by Margaret Engelkemeier. Survivors include four sons Albert George John Harkins and Mitchell all of Omaha and two daughters Mrs Fritz Nelson and Mrs Bert Rels of Omaha.

Foreclosure of Tax Title Involving Elks Lodge Country Club
In a district court action E. J. Delaney sues Plattsmouth lodge No. 739 Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks to foreclose a tax certificate on property held by the Elks and known as the Country club at the city outskirts. The lodge has assignments from William Barclay as part of the claim. The Country club was formed three years ago by the Elks and the lodge, with stock sold to members and the public, though title remains in the Elks' name.
