Local Notes Bring Gatherings and Farm Listings

Community announcements mix poultry prices and farm for sale with social visits and club events. Neighbors discuss beef cattle, a 60 acre farm in Lebanon, Indiana, and a 22x32 silo, while social ties show guests from Indianapolis and Chillicothe Ohio and trips to Bethany Park and Indianapolis.

Three Immense Bridges in Utah National Monument

In southwestern Utah near Bluff lies three natural bridges Sipapu, Kachina, and Owa chome, among the largest of their kind. Discovered in 1805, proclaimed a National Monument in 1908, the largest arch reaches 222 feet high and 65 feet thick at the crown with a 261 foot span. Nearby caves and ruins hint at a prehistoric home, accessible by stage to Monticello and pack-horse through stark country.
