Young Lady Lois Brown Dies After Long Illness
Lois Irene Brown died Sunday evening at 6 30 after a three year decline in health. A 22 year old graduate of Oxford College for Women she was active in The Imperial Trio and known for her executive ability. Funeral services were held at South Vine Street with Rev W L Hedges presiding and many friends attending. She leaves parents Mr and Mrs Hubert Brown and sister Margaret.

James Howland aged 64 died at the Howland homestead in Indianapolis last Friday night from nephritic and ureamic poisoning. A former Plainfield resident, he married Maude Jones of this place.
