Robber Holds Up Hayesville Man For 35 Dollars
A lone burglar entered W. C. Meleum's home Tuesday night and, with a revolver, robbed him of 35 dollars while demanding surrender of his hands. The bandit, described as short and heavy, left his car running and fled after warning the victim not to pursue. No clues or identity were found by the next morning.

Kinross Farmer Takes His Life
John D. Adams, 42, a Kinross area farmer living five miles northeast of Kinross, killed himself Friday in the basement of his farm home. Local authorities reported no clear motive and no suicide note was found. He leaves a wife and two children.
