Co sponsored by Pecos Motors and Pecos Optimist Club entries open to boys turning 8 before January 16 and not yet 14. Chair is Jack Casimir. Last year the nationwide contest drew over 7 000 000 participants. Pecos lad Fernando Hernandez reached the regional San Diego finals in the 13 year old group.
