Gas line break closes Main Street and minor incidents
A broken gas line on Main Street forced a one hour closure as a Payson Sanitary District backhoe damaged the line. Fire crews contained the leak and shut off nearby homes. No injuries. Separately a camper fire caused by towels igniting did about 100 dollars in damage. A false alarm at Jenny Lynn Apartments drew four engine companies. A motorcycle spill near Ox Bow Inn ignited a small fire. the bike remained undamaged.
