Public notice of delinquent land taxes in Marion County Illinois
I Homer W Lewellen treasurer and ex officio collector will apply to the Marion County court at the September term 1939 for judgments on lands listed for taxes interest penalties and costs due for year 1988 and prior years. On October 2 1939 delinquent lands will be offered for public sale at the courthouse to satisfy the amounts due for 1938 and prior years. The list includes numerous parcels in Patoka Township and the Village of Patoka with stated acreages and amounts, with names such as Oscar Cyrus Knight H O Tillman Lem Meador Flora Murfin Warren Murfin J W Thompson and others, under the authority of Marion County Illinois.
