Four Rural Youths Earn FFA Star Farmer Awards at Kansas City
At the national FFA convention in Kansas City Mo four Star Farmers of America were named Ray Gene Cinnamon of Garber Oklahoma Marvin Krull of Lake Mills Wisconsin Wayne Francis Stull of Yakima Washington and Hoopes Yarnell of Cochranville Pennsylvania. Cinnamon topped the field with a 1947 net income over five thousand dollars from wheat cattle hogs and crops. The four regional winners and the organization’s purpose and structure are outlined.
