Edward Howard Maps, a 5'8\" 170 pound 40s era artist and sculptor born June 29 1922 in Passaic New Jersey, is sought for the murder of his wife and infant daughter in Stroudsburg Pennsylvania. Fire set multiple blazes at the home and a gas oven was turned on. Maps allegedly telephoned neighbors after the crimes and warned one person he would be “next.” A federal warrant for unlawful interstate flight to avoid prosecution for murder and arson was issued January 23 1962 at Scranton.
