Notice publicizes the biennial city election in Paris Idaho to elect a mayor and one councilman from each ward. Polls run 9 am to 7 pm at City Hall Main Street. Registration ends 9 pm April 20 1957 at the City Clerk office in Paria Variety Store building.

In Bear Lake County Idaho the Class A School District No 33 calls a special meeting for April 15 1983 at 8 pm in Montpelier High School Auditorium to hear the maintenance and operation budget for the coming school year. Mrs. Izatt and Mrs. Smith vacationed in Las Vegas with Mrs. Anderson caring for the Izatt children. R. G. Stock runs the store while they are away. Several locals joined Jennie Pugmire to Logan for weaving supplies. Mrs. Geren Howell and Nina Loveland accompanied them. Cancer School attendees in Montpelier included Vera Kearl, Jennie Pugmire, Effie Stock, Georgie Findlay, and Myrtle Cottle. Mrs. Satan Kears visited sister Eldon Cook at Border and then toured Blackfoot.
Garden City notes list Friday shoppers 1r and Mrs Rollin Findlay at Montpelier and a Thursday Ogden shopping tour by the couple. Ogden visitors Mr Lee Ellis and Miss Nona Haberson stayed with Ross Pope, while Salt Lake residents Mr and Mrs Lloyd Sprouse visited Merrill Sprouse. Milford Loveland attended an MIA Square Dance and pot luck at Liberty.
Mrs LeRoy Sorengen spent Friday in Paris and Montpelier, visiting friends and taking care of errands. Her trip covered local stops and a brief stay in Montpelier before returning home.
