Oswego Falls Agricultural Fair Ends in 1920 Exhibition
The Oswego Falls Agricultural Fair began in 1858 after a split with Mexico over the society name. It grew on land near Lake Neahtawanta, added a half mile track, and featured horse races, rides, displays from Syracuse exhibitors, and notable balloon ascent acts. The 1920 fair marked the end of the Oswego Falls Agricultural Fair as the grounds were sold to the American Woolen Company.
