DayBreak Volunteers Plant Trees in Fulton District
DayBreak volunteers from the Fulton Tree Committee Price Chopper and Friends of Fulton Parks planted trees on April 23 to replace dead trees. Coordinated by Parks and Recreation Superintendent Barry Ostrander Kelly Weaver and the groups, the effort included Jan Rebeer Steven and Janice Belair Jim and Patricia Karasek Cheri Lenhart Jordan Richardson Jodi Porter Penny Kaylee and Alexa Halstead and featured a donation of 50 LED bulbs from the Karaseks. Fulton City School District budget hearing few comments on 70.3 million plan
Fulton district presented its 2016 17 budget of 70.3 million at a public hearing with sparse input. Superintendent Bill Lynch and Kathy Nichols outlined a 2.47 percent year to year rise, a 43 cent levy increase to 20,583,063, and a tax rate hike to 27.79 per thousand.
