FDA moves to regulate e cigarettes and vaping products nationwide
The FDA will require review of e cigarettes and contents with a two year information submission and a final review period. Minors will be barred from purchasing, vending machine sales banned, and free samples prohibited starting in August. Regulators aim to curb the growing vaping market while public health advocates praise action and industry groups warn of big costs.
