Santa Concetta Grasso Rinaldo 94 of Palm Coast Fla formerly of Oswego died March 16 2016 at home with family nearby She lived most of her life in Oswego before moving to Florida with daughter Lisa Tonkin and son in law Rob Tonkin She was a devoted wife mother and grandmother who cared for her siblings and husband Charles A Rinaldo until his death in 1995 Survived by children Theresa Galletta Chuck Rinaldo Ken Rinaldo Lisa Tonkin grandchildren and eight great grandchildren Graveside service will be private and no calling hours exist She was predeceased by seven siblings and was active in Fulton Oswego Alliance Churches.

Alice Sullivan 86 of Oswego passed away March 16 at home with family nearby. A Oswego native, she taught English at Liverpool High School and later served with the Oswego County Board of Elections before retiring to family life. Survived by husband James Sullivan and eight children, 15 grandchildren, a sister and two brothers. Funeral 11 a.m. Monday at St. Peter's Church with burial at St. Peter's Cemetery. Oswego man charged with assault using a shovel
Wilmar Castillo of 100 W Cayuga St Oswego faces multiple charges after allegedly fleeing police on a bicycle with a controlled substance, blocking traffic, resisting arrest and false personation. He allegedly entered a home and struck a victim with a shovel causing pain and damage, also facing felony assault and weapon charges. He was remanded to Oswego County Correctional Facility on bail.
