Fairgrieve students lauded for May effort at Fairgrieve Elementary
Twenty four students from Fulton Fairgrieve Elementary were named Virtue of the Month honorees for May. Principal Jean Ciesla praised their daily effort and perseverance in academics and behavior as they received brag tags and applause. Oswego Rotary honors veterans with Quilts of Valor
Oswego Rotary held a veterans program where Kerry Barnes of Quilts of Valor presented each veteran a handmade quilt. Quilts of Valor Foundation began in 2003 in Delaware, inspired by a Blue Star mom whose son served in Iraq, and now provides healing quilts to service members and veterans from any conflict.
