Fort Ontario Refugee Shelter art program Jan 27
Oswego hosts a January 27 program on the Art and Artists of the Fort Ontario Emergency Refugee Shelter from 1944 to 1946. Historians Rebecca Fisher Paul Lear and Frank Lorraine present at 7 p.m. in the Frances Marion Brown Theater. The event marks International Holocaust Remembrance Day and covers artists sculptors caricaturists and cartoonists connected to the shelter.
