Catholic Church Brews New Path in Czech Republic Monastery
At Zeliv monastery the Catholic church installs a beer line as part of a drive to self‑fund: 2015 investments total 1.2 billion koruna, 4,000+ employees across church farming, buildings, and finance. Brews, a Litomerice plant, echo a 14th century brewing heritage while planning hotels and tourism. The effort aims to sustain church activity as state support fades by 2030.
