Oswego County lawmakers approved a plan to raise the sheriff clerk and treasurer salaries over three years. The sheriff will reach 96070 by 2020 from 84536 this year and the clerk and treasurer will rise to 86613 from 76215. One speaker urged moderation noting Oswego County remains economically challenged.
