Yugoslav families escape barracks amid Sarajevo relief progress
In Sarajevo 800 Yugoslav soldiers and their families were allowed to leave the Marshal Tito barracks after a monthlong blockade. A pact to reopen Sarajevo airport for relief was signed, with U.N. control to protect it. Serb shelling continued as a fragile ceasefire showed signs of progress in a city long besieged.
