Perot Added to Ballots in Kansas General Election
Ross Perot will appear on the November ballot in Kansas after the secretary of state's office verified 5,551 signatures on nominating petitions, more than the 5,000 required. Spokesman John Reinhart said verification paused once counties reported over 5,000 valid signatures, and Graves formally placed Perot on the ballot. Perot supporters had claimed about 46,000 to 50,000 signatures, with one box arriving too late for verification.
