Wellsville Fails to Close Out Eudora in Consolation Clash
In a tight consolation bracket game Wellsville led 22-13 at halftime but watched Eudora surge to a 37-32 edge after three quarters. Coach Brent Shaffer blamed a lack of killer instinct and cold third period as Wellsville faded, despite a late push. Wellsville, now 49, faces Gardner at 4 15 p.m. Saturday to chase sub-state advancement.
