Born February 24 1930 in Valley Falls he served in the US Navy 1943 45 aboard USS Enterprise and earned chief petty officer. He married Mary Friesen 1950 and worked for SSA FCC and USDA Soil Conservation Service retiring 1976. Survived by wife two daughters Gary son eight grandchildren two great grandchildren. two siblings and a granddaughter among survivors. Memorials to Midland Hospice American Heart Association or American Parkinson’s Disease Association.
