At Annapolis the Prototype Communications Satellite built by the U S Naval Academy shows functioning after launch aboard an Athena rocket from Kodiak Alaska. Six students used off the shelf parts to construct PCSat costing about 50000 dollars with two dozen AA batteries powering it.
